The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office (PBSO) runs the Palm Beach County Jail, where inmates are held before trial or after sentencing. The PBSO website provides an inmate locator tool that allows you to search for inmates currently in custody.

- Locate the Inmate Search Tool:
On the PBSO website, click on the "Inmate Search" link located in the "Services" section.
- Enter Inmate Information:
On the inmate search page, you can search for an inmate using various criteria, including:
- Inmate Name: Enter the inmate's full name or last name if you only know a portion of it.
- Inmate ID: If you know the inmate's ID number, you can enter it.
- Date of Birth: Enter the inmate's date of birth in the MM/DD/YYYY format.
- Start the Search:
After entering the inmate information, click on the "Search" button to initiate the search process.
- View Inmate Results:
The system will display a list of inmates matching your search criteria. If multiple inmates are found, you can refine your search by providing additional information.
- Review Inmate Details:
Once you locate the inmate you are looking for, click on their name to view detailed information about them, including:
- Inmate Name: Full name of the inmate.
- Inmate ID: Unique identification number assigned to the inmate.
- Booking Date: Date when the inmate was booked into the jail.
- Charges: List of charges against the inmate.
- Bond: Amount of money required for the inmate's release.
- Projected Release Date: Date when the inmate is expected to be released.
- Facility: Jail or correctional facility where the inmate is currently being held.
